Worcestershire way in a day!!!
30 miles from Bewdley to West Malvern. Due to the success of last years Across Wales walk we are setting ourselves another challenge. The plan is to taxi it or have a ride in Darren's brother's minibus! over to Bewdley on the saturday morning to satrt at the bridge over The River Severn at 7am and walk to West malvern and stay Saturday night there

Walk Distance = 7.5miles
Description & Start Point = Meet at the entrance to Sedgley Beacon just off Beacon Lane DY31NA.
After taking in the panoramic views from the Beacon the walk takes us across South Staffs countryside to Penn Common before returning through Gospel End Village and Sedgley Hall Farm Park.
Packed lunch recommended.
There is limited on street parking in Beacon Lane and Monument Lane or the nearest free Car park is in Castle Street (5mins walk away).

Location = Penkridge to Codsall (RA 75th Anniversary Walk)
Walk Grading = Grade 2 Easy
Walk Distance = 13 miles
Description & Start Point = CLICK TO SEE MAP OF START POINT Start point at free car park in Codsall Town Centre next to bus stop. 880 bus leaves Codsall at approx 09.15 and costs £1.80 to Penkridge centre. We will then walk the Staffordshire Way via Lapley and Brewood back to Codsall. There will be a lunch stop 1/3 of way and pub stop 2/3 of way.The walk is part of the 75th Anniversary Celebrations of the Ramblers Association. Between them, the 15 groups of Staffs Area will complete the entire 91 mile route of the Staffordshire Way.

Join us for a weekend of walkin, drinkin, and generally misbehavin at the wonderful Castle Inn near Talgarth; a pub which - by sheer coincidence - has a bunkhouse next door (or should that be the other way round?!).
